Senior PLC Programmer

Work Experience:

(A) An electrical engineering degree, a degree including PLC programming, or process control is preferred.

(B) 5 - 7+ years of relevant experience in programming PLC controls for systems operations with automation equipment is required.

What you’ll do at Aditya:

1. Creation and testing of machine-specific control programs with the aid of standard modules (PLC, HMI, SCADA, process technology, etc.) for all machine areas and overall line competence of standard systems

2. Customize and test custom software solutions using test controls before implementation in existing machines.

3. Creation of software design documents (SDS, flowchart, SCR, ...).

4. Evaluation of alternative and replacement solutions for control and electrical components.

5. Creation of interface programs for third-party devices and SCADA systems using standard modules.

6. Preparing a template for visualization and contribute to developing operator functions.

Here’s what we are looking for:

1. Strong knowledge of Mitsubishi, Delta, Beckhoff & Siemens, etc PLC systems required.

2. Knowledge of ladder logic Structured text programming for various makers of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).

3. Proficiency in PLC networks, communications, and interfacing of various devices, both hardware and software.

4. Knowledge of servo motion control systems and/or robot motion control.

5. Proficiency in LABVIEW Software (NI).

6. Knowledge of creating electrical circuit diagrams.

7. Must have a strong understanding of the electrical, mechanical, and software engineering principles needed to create and maintain automated processes.

8. Experience reading and modifying electrical control schematics.

9. Ability to interpret drawings, diagrams, and machine specifications.

10. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures related to the automation field.

11. Knowledge of basic electrical concepts, such as PNP and NPN switches, AC and DC circuits, E-Stop circuits and stepper/servo motor function.

12. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes preferred.

13. Understanding of production machine and machine tool capabilities.

14. Conducting tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance.

15. Proficiency with multiple manufacturers’ automation hardware and software.

6. Ensure and test the full functionality of the machine. Commissioning of third-party devices (camera system, printer, code reader, laser) as well as their operation, in cooperation with the electrical and design group, manufacturer, etc.

7. Create hardware and software cost estimates.

8. Checking, setting, and updating the electrical parts for Procurement.

9. Connect machines to existing systems and start up.

10. Carry out commissioning and training on new machines.

11. Analyse malfunctions on machines, and determine and implement corrective measures.

12. Technical support and troubleshooting.
