Restricted Materials & Conflict of Minerals Policy
Aditya Auto recognizes the risk of adverse impacts associated with extracting, trading, and handling certain minerals, and we are committed to responsible sourcing goods that contain such minerals, as part of our overall commitment to human rights in our business activities and along our global supply chain.
Aditya Auto supports the goals reflected in the conflict minerals due diligence requirements adopted by the United States in Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act and by the European Union in Regulation (EU) 2017/821 and Directive 2000/53/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on End-of-Life Vehicles (ELV). Last version of Annex II of the EU ELV Directive 2000/53/EC.
As a manufacturer of products that contain Tantalum, Tin, Tungsten and Gold (3TG), Aditya Auto shall commit and encourage suppliers to source from smelters that have received the conflict free designations. It is Aditya Auto’s policy to perform due diligence on the source and chain of custody of Conflict Minerals in our supply chain, and we expect our suppliers to perform their own due diligence to inform our compliance efforts.
Suppliers shall ensure that any products sold to Aditya Auto are DRC Conflict Free by ensuring Conflict Minerals Policies, due diligence frameworks, and management systems are designed and implemented.
Aditya Auto shall review and monitor its supply chain to assess whether the mineral resources contained in materials or components used to manufacture its products have any harmful social effect, such as on human rights or the environment.
Aditya Auto has detailed out the expectation to all the suppliers it deals with:
- Suppliers and their corresponding sub suppliers are expected to source Conflict Minerals only from sources that are DRC Conflict Free.
- Develop, Implement, Communicate and Train their personnel on the usage of Policies.
- Maintain business records supporting the source of Conflict Minerals.

- Suppliers are mandated from time to time, provided with information concerning the origin of Conflict Minerals included in products for Aditya Auto. Aditya Auto shall be entitled to use or disclose in satisfying any legal or regulatory requirements or in any customer or marketing communications, notwithstanding the terms of any confidentiality agreements that do not specifically reference this paragraph.
