What you’ll do at Aditya:

The Manager – Engineering (Motor & Electronics) is responsible for leading the design, development, and validation of motor and electronic systems across product lines. This role plays a critical part in driving innovation, ensuring product performance, and delivering cost-effective, reliable solutions in alignment with organizational goals and customer requirements. As a key member of the Engineering leadership team, the manager oversees cross-functional teams of electrical, mechanical, and embedded system engineers.

You bring to Aditya:

1. Strong Managerial Competence: Proven ability to lead cross-functional engineering teams with sound decision-making, project planning, and team development capabilities.

2. Motor Development Expertise: In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in the design and development of DC motors, specifically for automotive applications, including Permanent Magnet DC (PMDC) and Brushless DC (BLDC) motors.

3. Electrical Design & Development: Skilled in electrical system design, component selection, and integration of BLDC and PMDC motors for high-performance automotive systems.

4. Proficiency in CAD Tools: Advanced user of CATIA for mechanical design, modeling, and simulation, with strong experience in creating production-ready drawings and assemblies.

5. Product Design & NPD: Demonstrated expertise in mechanical design and new product development (NPD) for automotive components, with a focus on innovation, cost-efficiency, and performance optimization.

6. Quality & Process Tools: Practical experience in applying quality and process methodologies such as Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).

7. Mechanical Engineering Methods: Deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and material selection relevant to motor and electronics systems.

8. Industry Experience: Preferably possesses experience in the motor manufacturing industry, with exposure to high-reliability product development environments.
