Work Experience:
a) 1-3 Years of Experience in Construction or Civil Engineering
b) B.E. (Civil) Engineering (Required) or Construction Management or a related field
c) Language Known : English, Kannada, Hindi
What you’ll do at Aditya:
This role is integral to ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects, and site engineers often serve as the bridge between design teams and on-site operations, ensuring the project is executed smoothly and efficiently.
1. Site Management & Supervision:
- Oversee construction site operations, ensuring that work is carried out according to the plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Monitor daily progress of work and ensure that it aligns with project timelines.
- Organize and maintain site records, including attendance, daily reports, and material usage.
2. Technical Support:
- Provide technical advice to contractors and workers to resolve construction issues on-site.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure work is done as per plans.
- Ensure that the construction methods comply with the design and quality standards set out in the project.
3. Quality Control:
- Monitor the quality of work to ensure that it meets both client and regulatory standards.
- Conduct inspections of construction materials, equipment, and work procedures.
- Report any deviations or defects to the project manager and recommend corrective measures.
4. Health & Safety Compliance:
- Ensure that all work on-site is performed safely and follows industry health and safety guidelines.
- Conduct regular safety checks and risk assessments to prevent accidents.
- Ensure that workers use appropriate safety equipment and follow safety protocols.
5. Coordination and Communication:
- Act as the liaison between the construction team, architects, engineers, and Aditya team to ensure smooth project execution.
- Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Organize and attend site meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and deadlines.
6. Resource Management:
- Assist in the planning and management of resources such as labor, equipment, and materials to meet project requirements.
- Ensure proper allocation of resources to avoid delays and reduce costs.
- Monitor inventory levels and track material usage to ensure efficient resource utilization.
7. Project Documentation:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for the entire construction project, including contracts, permits, and schedules.
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports to senior management, contractors.
- Ensure that all legal and environmental regulations are adhered to and that all required permits and inspections are obtained.
8. Budget and Cost Control:
- Assist in estimating project costs and help manage the project’s budget.
- Track expenses, verify invoices, and ensure that spending stays within the budget.
- Identify and mitigate any risks or challenges that could lead to cost overruns or delays.
