Work Experience:
Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical/Production/Electrical Engineering.
Experience: 8+ years in automotive component manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role handling products like window regulators, latches, and power windows.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of assembly line operations, automation, process development and industrialization
What you’ll do at Aditya:
Role Purpose :
Responsible for process design, development, industrialization, and manufacturing feasibility activities for automotive motor products. The role works closely with product design and engineering teams to develop robust manufacturing processes for BLDC and PMDC motors from concept to production. The position will lead process development activities, coordinate with machine suppliers, support new product launches, and drive manufacturing excellence initiatives.
Key Responsibilities :
• Develop and implement manufacturing processes for BLDC and PMDC motors used in automotive applications.
• Design and develop manufacturing lines, assembly processes, and process flow layouts.
• Coordinate with machine and line suppliers for technical discussions, FAT/SAT activities, and project execution.
• Validate manufacturing processes and establish process capability through trials and production validation.
• Prepare and maintain process documentation including Process Flow Diagram (PFD), PFMEA, Control Plans, SOPs, and Work Instructions.
• Work closely with product design teams during product development to ensure manufacturability and process feasibility.
• Participate in design reviews and provide DFM/DFA inputs.
• Support prototype builds, pilot production, and engineering validation activities.
• Drive process industrialization for new motor platforms and engineering changes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for productivity, quality, cycle time reduction, and cost optimization.
• Support APQP, PPAP, and customer audit activities.
• Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis for process-related issues.
• Ensure compliance with automotive quality systems and manufacturing standards.
• Lead process development activities and guide cross-functional engineering teams during process design, validation, and industrialization phases.

• Strong knowledge of process design and development for automotive motor manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience in BLDC and PMDC motor process development.
• Expertise in manufacturing line design and process validation.
• Good understanding of mechanical manufacturing processes and assembly engineering.
• Experience in PFMEA preparation and working knowledge of DFMEA.
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, Control Plan, and automotive quality systems.
• Basic working knowledge of CATIA software.
• Experience in process capability studies and line balancing.
• Team leadership and cross-functional project coordination experience.
You bring to Aditya:
E• Experience in Permanent Magnet DC Motor or BLDC Motor manufacturing industry.
• Exposure to automation, poka-yoke, and lean manufacturing concepts.
• Knowledge of IATF 16949 requirements.
• Experience in interacting with machine suppliers and automation vendors.
